Can one change the substrate orientation? if it can be changed by user, where and how?
The substrate specification is similar for SiLENSe and FETIS. The
heterostructure is assumed to be grown along c-axis, and combo-box
'substrate orientation' allows one to choose the polarity (Ga-faced
[0001] or N-faced [000-1]). The user can also specify the in-plane
lattice constant of the substrate by both direct input and input of
the composition. Again, the substrate parameters describe not the
actual substrate but thick epitaxial layer underlying the
heterostructure. They are used only for calculation of the
piezoelectric field and the direction of the spontaneous polarization.
