Usually we recommend the following way of relating SiLENSe simulations with
experimental data.
(i) Specify the QW thickness which can be known, for instance, from TEM
measurements.
(ii) Choose In composition by adjusting the computed peak wavelength to the
experimental one.
The In fluctuation effect noted in the roadmap describes the fluctuation
effect on the internal quatum efficiency. Some people claim that In
fluctuations improve IQE by capturing carriers and preventing their
non-radiative recombination on threading dislocations. We have developed a
model for analysis of this effect. In fact, it it already implemented in the
version which is under development now. However, this option effects IQE
only and will not improve the situation with high In content
