The piezoelectric polarization computation is rather complex in general case of semipolar structure and described in Sec. 2. But for polar orientations [0001] and [000-1] these equations are reduced to the form described in the manual versions 3.6 and below (see Eqs. 2.2 - 2.4 in the file attached).
